bright mornings and rainy days
Stayed over at my uncle’s place and on my way home caught the beginning of a day with nice clear skies and bright sunshine.
Reflections
The reflections of a block of apartments against the still water of the canal.
Pathway to the light
The texture of the wooden planks are accentuated by the soft light of the rising sun.
Unfortunately the clear blue skies and nice sunshine did not hold till the next day when i had scheduled a street shoot in Arab Street. It was overcast and gloomy and it rained..

Finished coffee
so we decided to stop by for a coffee, to take shelter from the downpour outside
Stairs
but it was a long flight of stairs up and the exhibition was closed
Looking out
so still looking overcast, we travelled to an alternative location
Waves
which was near the sea where the air was fresher
Looking out to sea
to look but not find the elusive sunset
Droplets
and look at the droplets left there by the afternoon storm
Sitting by the sea
maybe an idea for a picnic, perhaps?
Fishing
or to catch some fish by the calmer waters
Rock-ed
or just sit and admire the stones on this stony beach
